Jazz Fest Pompano Beach returns April 16 and 17, 2027, for its sixth year, on the beach just south of the Fisher Family Pier. Pompano Beach Arts, the city’s Cultural Affairs Department, runs the two-day festival of jazz, funk and soul. General admission is free with registration. The 2027 lineup has not been announced.

Tickets and registration

General admission seating is free, but Pompano Beach Arts says registration is required for security and safety planning. Registration for 2027 is open on Eventbrite, linked from the festival page.

The VIP Pass adds premium up-front seating on portable flooring, a private VIP cash bar and a festival swag bag. In 2026 the VIP pass was for Sunday only, according to the city’s announcement. Pompano Beach Arts has not yet posted 2027 VIP prices.

The lineup

Pompano Beach Arts says the 2027 lineup is “to be announced soon.” For a sense of the festival, the 2026 lineup was:

  • Saturday: Kim Scott, Richard Elliot and headliner Brian Culbertson
  • Sunday: The Purple Project: Reimagining the Music of Prince, led by Martin Bejerano; Walter Beasley; and headliner Ghost-Note
  • Local Talent Stage: Haley Cove, Garçon de Kilimanjaro and Nicole Kidd on Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m.; The Fella Band, Kizie The Violist and Inner Court on Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.

Past festivals have also featured Joshua Redman, Judith Hill, Randy Brecker, Spyro Gyra, David Sanborn and Arturo Sandoval, according to the festival page.

Food

The 2026 festival’s Beachside Taste of Pompano served food from local restaurants including Lucky Fish, Oceanic, The Beach House, Baresco, How You Brewin?, Falafel Beach Grill, The Briny Pub, Taco Station, Carlucci’s, Lola’s on the Water, Zoe’s Beachside Grill and Stingers. The 2027 food lineup has not been posted.

Parking and getting there

The city warns that parking is limited near the pier and asks festivalgoers to consider rideshare. The city said in 2026 that the festival has drawn “tens of thousands of attendees” over its first five years. Note that 2027 moves the festival to a Friday and Saturday; 2026 was a Saturday and Sunday.
