Bakeries in Pompano Beach: French, Caribbean and doughnuts

Pompano Beach’s bakeries are spread thin across the city. Two French pastry shops sit on South Dixie Highway West and North Federal Highway, Caribbean bakeries are on Dixie Highway and East Sample Road, and a round-the-clock doughnut shop anchors East Atlantic Boulevard. Dunkin’ stores are on our breakfast and coffee list.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Pompano Beach city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 11, 2026. Because the map records had no bakeries tagged, we added places from the state’s restaurant license and inspection records and checked each address against the Census city boundary. Places marked “no website” have none we could find; each holds a current state license. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Amy’s French Bakery & Bistro on South Dixie Highway West bakes croissants, French bread and pastries and serves daily bistro specials and espresso, according to its site. It offers dine-in, pickup and delivery, and closes in the early afternoon.

Dandee Donut Factory on East Atlantic Boulevard is part of a small South Florida group with stores in Margate and Deerfield Beach. Its site says the Pompano Beach shop is open 24/7, serves breakfast all day and takes special orders by phone.

F&M Cousins Caribbean Bakery is a takeout bakery on South Dixie Highway West. We could not find a website of its own; the state inspected it in February 2026.

Family Bakery in Pompano is a takeout bakery on North Dixie Highway. We could not find a website of its own; the state inspected it in July 2026.

MBS Caribbean Restaurant and Bakery on East Sample Road is licensed as a Caribbean restaurant and bakery. We could not find a website of its own; the state inspected it in August 2026.

Pascal and Cathy Bakery on North Federal Highway is a French bakery run by its two owners, who list more than 35 years of experience. Its site says everything is made on site, from viennoiseries and pastries to sandwiches and paninis for breakfast and lunch, and it caters.

Voila Bakery and Take-Out Restaurant is on South Pompano Parkway. We could not find a website of its own; the state inspected it in July 2026. Call for hours.
