Sushi and Asian food in Pompano Beach clusters in three places: South Cypress Road near Atlantic Boulevard, the Federal Highway corridor from the Pompano Citi Centre south, and East Atlantic Boulevard and North Ocean Boulevard by the beach. Chinese takeout counters fill in the west side along Sample Road, Atlantic Boulevard and Pompano Parkway.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Pompano Beach city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 11, 2026. Because the map records had no Asian restaurants tagged, we added places from the state’s restaurant license and inspection records and checked each address against the Census city boundary. Places marked “no website” have none we could find or load; each holds a current state license. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Kin Asian Street Food on Southwest 6th Street is a small, casual restaurant run by a couple from Thailand, according to its site. Its menu runs from Thai chicken wings and bao buns to Japanese ramen, sushi rolls and Japanese crepes, and it caters.

Kin Kao Kitchen on North Federal Highway opened Sept. 1, 2026, according to its site, with dishes from Laos, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan. It closes between lunch and dinner and on Sundays.

Miyako Japanese Buffet on South Federal Highway is an all-you-can-eat buffet of sushi, seafood and Chinese dishes. It has a party room and runs lunch and dinner buffets every day.

Saito’s Japanese Steakhouse at the Pompano Citi Centre is one of six South Florida hibachi restaurants in the group, with tableside cooking, sushi and private dining. It takes reservations.

Sushi Boat on South Cypress Road has been run by a husband-and-wife team since 2007, according to its site. It is open seven days a week, with a midday break most weekdays and dinner only on weekends.

Tezka Asian Latin Kitchen at the Pompano Citi Centre mixes Asian and Latin dishes and caters. It closes at 4 p.m. on Sundays.

Yamu Thai on North Ocean Boulevard near the beach serves Thai food and sushi. Its site says it comes from the owner of Tastes of Siam, open since 1981. It is closed Wednesdays.

No website we could find or load: 9Face Sushi Cafe and Take Sushi on East Atlantic Boulevard, Pompano Sushi on Southwest 26th Avenue, Pho Ocean on North Federal Highway, and the Chinese takeout restaurants China Express, China Palm, China Stars, China Town, China Wok and New China. Each holds a current state food service license at the address shown, and the phone numbers are the ones on those licenses. Call for hours.

Peking Duck House on East Atlantic Boulevard is not listed: its website says it is closed for remodeling after water damage.

Yamu Thai is at 2608 N. Ocean Blvd., Suite 5, and lists noon to 9 p.m. every day except Wednesday, when it is closed.

Is Peking Duck House in Pompano Beach open?

Not when we checked. Its website says it closed for remodeling after water damage and plans to start the work the week of Halloween, so it is not on this list.
