Breakfast in Pompano Beach runs along East Atlantic Boulevard toward the beach, where Lester’s, Juke Box Diner and Yellow Yolk sit, and up Federal Highway. Coffee bars cluster at the Fishing Village by the pier, the Pompano Citi Centre and on South Powerline Road near Interstate 95.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Pompano Beach city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 11, 2026. Because the map records were thin, we added places from the state’s restaurant license and inspection records and the Pompano Citi Centre’s own tenant directory, and checked each address against the Census city boundary. Places marked “no website” have none we could find or load; each holds a current state license. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Aroma Joe’s on South Powerline Road is a coffee chain store. Its locations page lists an opening time of 5:30 a.m. on weekdays and 6 a.m. on weekends.
Carmela Coffee says it grows its beans on a family farm in Costa Rica and roasts in Boca Raton. Its Pompano Beach cafe on South Powerline Road opened in 2023 and serves breakfast, lunch and coffee drinks.
Dunkin’ has eight stores inside the city limits, each holding a current state license. The chain’s store pages did not load for us, so check its app for hours.
Foxtail Coffee Co. is at the Pompano Citi Centre on Northeast 23rd Street. Its page lists an espresso bar, cold brew, Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream, indoor seating and outdoor cafe seating.
How You Brewin’ Coffee Company is a New Jersey shore coffee company. Its locations page lists its Pompano Beach shop in the Fishing Village by the pier as open daily, year-round.
IHOP has two restaurants in the city. The Copans Road store, near the Pompano Citi Centre, lists itself as open 24 hours; the Pompano Parkway store closes at midnight. Both offer dine-in, takeout and catering.
Lester’s Diner is a South Florida diner group with four restaurants. Its Pompano Beach diner on East Atlantic Boulevard is open every day from 6 a.m.
Nelson’s Diner on South Cypress Road serves breakfast all day in a 1950s-themed room lined with pictures of Elvis, Marilyn Monroe and Corvettes, according to its site. It offers online ordering and catering.
