Every Pompano Beach where-to-eat list in one place: wings, pizza, Mexican, breakfast and coffee, burgers, sushi, ice cream, bakeries and patios.

Last checked Oct. 11, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

These are Pompano Beach Daily’s lists of places to eat inside the city limits, one page per food. Most of the city’s restaurants line East Atlantic Boulevard from Dixie Highway to the beach, Federal Highway (US 1), the pier on North Pompano Beach Boulevard and the Pompano Citi Centre at Federal Highway and Copans Road.

How we make these lists. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Pompano Beach city limits, the same data behind our local directory, and from the state’s restaurant license and inspection records, checked against each place’s own website. Every list is alphabetical. None is a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on one. Restaurants can write to us to correct an entry.

The lists

Where to get wings. Wing shops on Southwest 6th Street, Hammondville Road and Northeast 23rd Street, plus pubs and sports bars with wings on the menu, from South Federal Highway to the Intracoastal on McNab Road.

Where to get pizza. The longest list: neighborhood pizzerias on East Atlantic Boulevard and Cypress Road, coal-fired and brick-oven pies, and the delivery chains, with the stores that stay open past midnight.

Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants. A waterfront Mexican restaurant by the pier, family restaurants on East Atlantic Boulevard, Zona Fresca and Chipotle on Federal Highway, and taquerias along Dixie Highway, Sample Road and Powerline Road.

Breakfast and coffee. Diners on East Atlantic Boulevard and Cypress Road, a 24-hour IHOP, bagel shops, and coffee bars at the Fishing Village, the Pompano Citi Centre and on Powerline Road.

Where to get burgers. Five Guys, an independent hamburger house on Cypress Road and BurgerFi by the pier, plus the late-night drive-thrus on Atlantic Boulevard, Sample Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Sushi and Asian restaurants. Sushi bars on Cypress Road and East Atlantic Boulevard, a hibachi steakhouse and an Asian-Latin kitchen at the Pompano Citi Centre, Thai by the beach and Chinese takeout across the west side.

Ice cream and desserts. Shops by the pier and on East Atlantic Boulevard, liquid nitrogen ice cream and Cold Stone on Federal Highway, and small dessert counters on the west side.

Bakeries. Two French bakeries, Caribbean bakeries on Dixie Highway and Sample Road, and a doughnut shop on East Atlantic Boulevard that never closes.

Patios and outdoor dining. Only restaurants whose own sites name a patio, terrace or rooftop: oceanfront tables by the pier, Intracoastal docks, an Old Town patio and a golf course view.
